Here is How To Spot It, This Penny In Circulation is Worth $85,000!!!

Most people toss spare change into a drawer, a jar, or a car cupholder without giving it a second thought. Pennies feel insignificant—too small to matter, too common to care about. But every once in a while, a single coin in that forgotten pile can be worth more than a month’s salary… or even a year’s. And among all American coins, few have achieved the almost legendary status of the 1943 copper wheat penny.

To understand why this tiny coin can sell for $60,000 to $85,000, you have to go back to a moment in history when the entire nation was under pressure. In 1943, during the height of World War II, the U.S. Mint was ordered to conserve copper for the war effort. Copper was essential for ammunition, wiring, and communication equipment—vital military supplies. Making pennies from copper was no longer acceptable.

So the Mint made a rare change: instead of copper, they produced pennies made from zinc-coated steel. These “steelies” look completely different—gray, shiny, and lighter than normal. It was the only year in history that pennies were made from steel.

In theory, no copper pennies should have been made in 1943.

But things don’t always go according to plan.

A few leftover copper blanks—the small discs used to make coins—were accidentally fed into the presses alongside the steel blanks. No one noticed, and the machines stamped them and sent them into circulation. What should have been an ordinary year suddenly turned historic, and those accidental copper pennies became some of the rarest coins in American history.

Only a handful exist. Experts estimate that fewer than 25 genuine 1943 copper pennies have ever been found.

That rarity sends collectors into a frenzy. A real 1943 copper penny in top condition can sell for around $85,000. Even one that’s worn, scratched, or dull still sells for about $60,000. For a single penny.

Think about that: a coin worth one cent could pay off debt, buy a car, or even help start a business—if you happen to find the right one.

Naturally, such value attracts counterfeiters. Where there’s money, there are fakes. And people unfamiliar with coins often fall for scams because the differences are subtle unless you know what to look for.

One common scam is turning a 1948 penny into a fake “1943” by reshaping the “8” to look like a “3.” To an untrained eye, it looks convincing.

Another scam involves coating a regular 1943 steel penny—the common gray one—in copper. It looks real at first glance: same size, same shine, same date. But underneath, it’s still steel. And steel behaves differently from copper.

Here’s the simplest test you can do: hold a magnet to the coin.

Copper isn’t magnetic.
Steel is.

If the coin sticks to a magnet, it’s fake—either a copper-coated steel penny or a manipulated coin. This quick test has saved collectors thousands of dollars.

Other methods exist—checking weight, analyzing metal content, or examining thickness—but the magnet test is the easiest for most people.

What many don’t realize is that countless old jars, inherited collections, and dusty attic boxes might hold one of these rare pennies without anyone knowing. People used coins so casually in the 1940s that many copper 1943 pennies entered circulation unnoticed. Some may have been tossed into drawers by returning soldiers. Others stayed hidden in wallets or old tins until their owners passed away.

If you inherited coins from relatives or have a jar of mixed change, it’s worth taking a closer look. Just check for:

• the date 1943
• a copper-colored surface
• no magnetic attraction
• the old wheat ear design on the back

If all these match, you might be holding something worth more than most of your belongings.

If your penny looks real and passes the magnet test, the next step is professional authentication. Reputable coin dealers and grading companies can verify it. Certification from a trusted grading service can turn a potentially valuable find into a guaranteed investment collectors will pay top dollar for.

The story of the 1943 copper penny is part history, part accident, and part treasure hunt. It reminds us that not everything valuable looks valuable. Sometimes the greatest treasures sit in plain sight—at the bottom of a drawer, inside an old jar, or in a forgotten pocket.

Collectors chase the thrill. Historians admire the rare mistake that created the coin. Ordinary people love the possibility that something worth thousands could be sitting unnoticed in their home.

Pennies seem insignificant. Most people don’t even bother picking them off the ground. But the 1943 copper wheat penny proves that even the smallest objects can carry incredible stories—and incredible value.

So check your jars. Look through that old coffee can your grandfather filled. Search the pennies in your car cushions. One of them might be a relic from a chaotic moment in American history—a tiny mistake that turned into treasure.

And if you find it, that single penny could change your life.

A woman had a pile of old pill bottles—rather than throw them away, she turned them into brilliant creations.

We’ve all been there: opening a medicine cabinet and finding a pile of empty prescription or vitamin bottles. These containers are strong, moisture-resistant, and come with secure snap-on lids. Most people toss them in the trash, but one resourceful woman saw their potential. By thinking creatively, she realized these small bottles are perfect for organizing and storing small items.

Why Repurposing Works

Reusing items you already have reduces waste and saves money. But before diving into your next DIY project, it’s important to follow a few safety guidelines.

Safety First: Preparing Your Bottles

Before reusing any medical container, take these steps to ensure safety:

Protect Your Privacy: Black out personal information with a permanent marker or remove labels entirely.
Clean Thoroughly: Wash each bottle and lid with warm, soapy water.
Dry Completely: Make sure no moisture remains before adding supplies.
Important: Never store food or drinks in these bottles. Even after cleaning, tiny residues may remain, making them unsafe for consumption

10 Clever Ways to Reuse Empty Bottles

Organize Craft and Sewing Supplies

Perfect for buttons, beads, pins, needles, or bobbins. Transparent plastic lets you see what’s inside, and the tight lids prevent spills.

Sort Hardware and Small Tools

Keep screws, nails, washers, and fishing hooks organized. No more stepping on sharp objects, and home repairs become easier.

Travel-Sized Containers

Use for contact lens solution, nail polish remover, or essential oils. Small sizes are TSA-friendly. Avoid thick creams that could react with the plastic.

Mini Plant Pots and Labels

Poke drainage holes and use as seedling pots. Once the plant grows, transfer it to the garden. Cut bottles into strips for durable plant labels.

Portable First Aid or Car Kits

Store spare fuses, tire valve caps, or jumper wire ends in your glove box. Compact and durable for emergencies.
School Supply Caddies
Great for crayon nubs, pencil leads, erasers, or small paintbrushes. Kids enjoy the “click” of the lid, making cleanup fun.
DIY Cleaning Pods
Pre-measure vinegar, baking soda, or homemade cleaner for easy use. Label clearly to avoid confusion.
Decorative Light Covers
Use frosted bottles as LED tea light covers for a soft glow. Safer than candles and ideal for table decorations.
Scavenger Hunt Treasure Boxes
Fill with tiny toys, notes, or coins. Child-safe lids make unlocking the prize a fun challenge.
Camping and Outdoor Storage
Keep matches, small laundry detergent, or other essentials dry and compact in a backpack.
Safety Reminders
Do Not Store Food: Avoid snacks or drinks due to contamination risk.
No Flammable Liquids: Never use gasoline or acetone—plastic can melt or degrade.
Check Plastic Types: Look for the recycling number (#2 or #5) to know how to dispose of the bottle properly.
The Bottom Line
Empty pill bottles don’t have to end up in a landfill. With a little cleaning and some imagination, these small containers can become organizational wonders. Sustainability is all about seeing potential in what others overlook.

THE GIRL WITH THE BABY AND THE MAN WHO NEVER STOPPED!

The afternoon sun bore down on downtown Seattle, turning the glass towers into shimmering monuments of unyielding momentum. In a city defined by its frantic pace, to stop was to become invisible. This was why hundreds of commuters failed to notice the ten-year-old girl tucked against a concrete pillar outside a grocery store on Pine Street. Her name was Lily, and she sat with her knees pulled tight to her chest, cradling her one-year-old brother, Noah, in a tattered gray blanket. The baby’s cry was no longer a demanding wail; it had faded into the weak, rhythmic whimper of a child who had learned that hunger is rarely answered.

Lily watched the world pass by—men in tailored suits, women with overflowing shopping bags, and parents pulling their own children along with hurried impatience. She didn’t beg indiscriminately. She waited, her eyes searching for a specific kind of strength. Finally, she saw him: David Lawson, a man whose name was synonymous with Seattle real estate and ruthless negotiation. He was mid-call, his voice sharp as he ordered a subordinate to “close the deal or walk away.”

As he approached the automatic doors, Lily stood, swaying slightly under the weight of her brother. “Sir,” she whispered, her voice barely piercing the urban din. David stopped, his brow furrowed in annoyance. “I just need a small box of milk,” she said, her voice trembling but determined. “For my brother. I’ll pay you back when I grow up. I promise.”

David Lawson was not a man known for charity. He was cold, efficient, and untouchable—a man who had turned entire neighborhoods into profit margins. Yet, as he looked down at the girl’s frayed sleeves and the baby’s pale lips, a dormant memory flickered within him. He remembered the hollow ache of his own childhood, the watery soup, and the stinging shame of being told “no.” Instead of walking away, David ended his call and knelt on the dirty pavement, his expensive charcoal suit pressing into the grit. He asked her name and her story, and when she simply replied that her parents were “gone,” he felt the weight of a fact too heavy for a child to carry.

“Stay here,” he commanded. Inside the store, David didn’t just buy a carton of milk. He moved with a sudden, frantic urgency, piling bags high with formula, diapers, fresh fruit, and bread. When he returned and placed the bags at Lily’s feet, she stared at them as if they were a mirage. “I’ll pay you back,” she insisted again, tears welling in her eyes. David offered a rare, thin smile. “You already did,” he replied, “by reminding me.”

That afternoon was a quiet catalyst for an internal revolution. David returned to his penthouse, but the city’s glitter suddenly felt hollow. He couldn’t shake the image of the girl who hadn’t begged for mercy, but had attempted to negotiate her future. That night, he opened an inactive tax shelter known as the Lawson Foundation. With a few keystrokes and a transfer so large it triggered bank alerts, he gave the foundation a new mission: providing emergency support for children with no advocates. He added a strict stipulation: no publicity, no conditions.

Over the next decade, the foundation’s reach grew in the shadows. It quietly funded a stable transitional home for Lily and Noah, ensuring they had clothes, medical care, and, most importantly, an education. Lily never knew the source of the scholarship that allowed her to graduate at the top of her class, but she felt the invisible hand of a protector. She grew into a woman of singular focus, driven by a desire to ensure that children like her didn’t simply disappear into the cracks of the sidewalk.

The threads of their lives finally converged at the Lawson Foundation’s annual gala years later. Lily, now a college graduate and a rising star in social advocacy, attended as a guest of honor. David, silvered at the temples and leaning slightly on a cane, moved through the ballroom with a newfound softness. When their eyes met across the crowded room, the recognition was instantaneous. The electric current of that afternoon on Pine Street returned, bridging the gap between a billionaire and a girl who had once had nothing.

“The girl,” David whispered as she approached.

“I’m Lily Turner,” she said, her voice steady. “And I’m here to start paying you back.”

The conversation that followed was not about debts, but about legacy. David confessed that the foundation had been born from guilt, but Lily’s success had transformed it into a purpose. He saw in her the resilience that he had once possessed, but tempered with a compassion he had spent a lifetime rediscovering. Within months, David made a radical decision. He bypassed his seasoned executives and named Lily as the operational lead of the foundation. He knew that the only person fit to lead a mission for the forgotten was someone who remembered exactly what the cold felt like.

Lily’s leadership was transformative. Her first initiative was titled “The Milk Promise,” a program that bypassed bureaucratic red tape to deliver essential nutrition to infants in crisis. It was a silent, efficient operation that reflected the man who had first helped her. When David eventually passed away, he left behind more than just buildings and land; he left a letter for Lily, acknowledging that she had paid him back a thousand times over by saving the best part of his humanity.

Today, the foundation’s headquarters features a small, unassuming plaque in the lobby. It doesn’t list David’s business achievements or Lily’s academic honors. Instead, it features a photograph of a man in a suit kneeling beside a girl with a baby. The inscription reads: No child should have to beg to survive.

Lily Turner often finds herself walking past the grocery store on Pine Street. She doesn’t see a place of tragedy, but a place of beginning. Whenever she encounters a struggling mother or a hungry child, she doesn’t just offer charity; she offers a partnership. She kneels on the pavement, looks them in the eye, and tells them that the world is watching. She understands that kindness is a debt that can never be fully settled—it can only be passed on, ensuring that the light lit by a single act of mercy continues to burn long after the shadows have faded.

A Festive Moment That Became a Lesson

A Night That Didn’t Go as Planned

I had been imagining this evening for weeks—the kind of night that lingers in memory. I’d saved up carefully, rehearsed conversations in my mind, and picked a restaurant known for its quiet elegance. Soft lighting, crisp linens, gleaming glasses—everything promised intimacy. When my girlfriend arrived, radiant and smiling, I thought the night would unfold exactly as I’d hoped.

At first, it did. We laughed over appetizers, swapped old stories, and toasted to how far we’d come. For a while, it felt like the world had shrunk to just the two of us. But gradually, the mood began to shift.

The waiter was curt from the start. Questions were met with impatience, requests with annoyance. Midway through, we were asked to move tables over a “mistake” no one explained. The disruption broke the rhythm, turning what should have been a romantic evening into something awkward, as if we were unwelcome.

I tried to brush it off—no evening is perfect. Yet every sigh and dismissive glance chipped away at the joy. My girlfriend noticed too. She squeezed my hand under the table, a quiet reminder that being together mattered more than the setting.

When the bill arrived—$180—I paid without hesitation, wanting to leave gracefully. But as we were about to go, the waiter returned with the receipt.

“You forgot the service fee,” he said flatly.

It wasn’t the money that hurt. It was the presumption, the disregard for everything we’d shared at that table. I didn’t argue. I didn’t raise my voice. I simply said the service hadn’t earned one, stood up, and left.

On the drive home, I wrestled with doubt—had I overreacted? But my girlfriend and I didn’t dwell on the restaurant. We talked about respect—how easily it’s ignored, how quietly it matters. We realized moments like this reveal who we are, not through drama, but through the boundaries we choose to hold.

The next afternoon, the manager called. He had reviewed the situation and wanted my perspective. I explained calmly, without anger. To my surprise, he apologized sincerely, admitting the waiter’s behavior was inappropriate and thanking me for speaking up.

It didn’t feel like a victory. It felt like closure.

The dinner hadn’t gone as planned, yet it left me with something more lasting than a flawless night: a reminder that dignity doesn’t require confrontation—only honesty—and that respect, once lost, costs far more than any bill.

In the picture, the young boy dressed in a black t-shirt was receiving affectionate licks on his face from the family dog. The caption read, “Happy birthday my Ben. Your dad loves you! And so does Peanut!”

In his sister’s post, he is sitting on a boat and looking out into the distance. In the background, a beautiful sunset and mountain landscape are visible. In the picture, the young boy wore a blue t-shirt and his hair was slightly longer than in the picture his dad posted. She wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday Benjamin!!!!!! I love you”

Of course everyone who saw the post flocked ton the comment section to wish the young Benjamin a very happy birthday. Apart from that, they also noticed how grown up he looked.

“Happy Birthday Ben ou are looking so grown up Peanut is giving you sweet kisses! ,” one comment said.

Some comments also referenced Kelly Preston, Benjamin’s late mother. Some people even compared him ton his mother writing, “Such a beautiful mix of the two of you. Happy birthday precious Ben! I hope you have a beautiful day today! Love.”

Travolta and his children make sure to keep the memory of Kelly Preston alive by posting about her often. John and his daughter Ella both regularly post pictures of her on social media. The ‘Grease’ actor posted his late wife in a post for Mother’s Day.

When Kelly passed

Kelly passed away in 2020 after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She was 57 years old at the time of her passing. A year after she passed, Travolta revealed the heartbreaking conversation he had to have with his children following their mother’s death.

When Travolta appeared on Kevin Hart’s Peacock show “Hart to Heart,” he shared a moment between him and his son Benjamin. The two of them were out for a father-son walk when Bejamin said to his father, “Because mom passed away, I’m afraid you’re going to.”
“I said, ‘Well, it’s a very different thing.’ And I went through the differences about my longevity and her limited life. I said, ‘But you know, Ben … you always love the truth and I’m going to tell you the truth about life. Nobody knows when they’re gonna go or when they’re going to stay,” John recalled saying.

The actor talked about the deaths of both Kelly and his son Jet who passed when he was only 16 years old. He noted how both of them passed before their time.

“But who’s to say? I could die tomorrow. You could. Anybody can. So let’s look at it like it’s part of life. You don’t know exactly. You just do your best at trying to live the longest you can,” John recalled explaining to his son.

We are happy the Travolta family found a way beyond the grief they experienced. We are sending them the very best and wish young Benjamin Travolta a very happy fourteenth birthday!

“It’s so wonderful to bring another child into the world and to look at things through his eyes. He’s so innocent and so, just so sweet,” Kelly said at the time. They name him Benjamin as they liked it for boys and men, “It’s also a really gentle name,” said Kelly.

The couple were happy at the new addition to their family since the passing of Jett had a left a void in their lives and home. Kelly witnessed her son till his pre-teen years when she died in 2020. John announced her passing on Instagram on July 13, 2020 with a post. He thanked the medical centers and staff who helped treat his wife including the MD Anderson Cancer Centre. He thanked his friends and family for their support. He wrote, “Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while.”

A Push Please.

A man is in bed when there is a knock at the door.
He rolls over and looks at his clock, and it’s 3:30 in the morning. “I’m not getting out of bed at this time,” he thinks, and rolls over.

Then a louder knock follows. “Aren’t you going to answer that?” says his wife. So he drags himself out of bed and goes downstairs. He opens the door and there is a man standing on the porch. It didn’t take the homeowner long to realise the man was intoxicated.

“Hi there,” slurs the stranger. “Can you give me a push??”

“No, get lost! It’s half past three. I was in bed,” says the man and he slams the door. He goes back up and tells his wife what happened and she says, “That wasn’t very nice of you. Remember that night we broke down in the pouring rain on the way to pick the kids up from the babysitter and you had to knock on that man’s house to get us started again? What would have happened if he’d told us to get lost?”

“But the guy wasn’t even in his senses,”says the husband. “It doesn’t matter,” says the wife. “He needs our help and it would be a good thing to help him.”

So the husband gets out of bed again, gets dressed, and goes downstairs. He opens the front door, and not being able to see the stranger anywhere he shouts, “Hey, do you still want a push?” And he hears a voice cry out, “Yeah, please.” So, still being unable to see the stranger he shouts, “Where are you?”

And the man replies, “Over here, on the swing.”

A young boy knocked on my door on Halloween night and said, “Trick or treat?”
I looked at him and asked, “What have you come as?”

He said, “A werewolf.”

I said, “But you’re not wearing a costume. You’ve just got your normal clothes on.”

He said, “Yeah well, it’s not a full moon yet, is it?”

A man was robbing a house in the middle of the night.
All of a sudden, he heard a parrot cry out.

“Jesus is gonna get you.”

The robber ignored it, and takes the TV.

Again, the parrot cries out.

“Jesus is gonna get you.”

The robber started to get a little worried.

“What’s your name, birdie?”

“Moses.”

“What dumbass named you Moses?”

“The same dumbass who called his rottweiler Jesus.”

Discovering a bump, spot, rash, or unusual change in the genital area can be alarming. Because this part of the body is rarely discussed openly, many people immediately assume the worst or delay seeking information out of embarrassment. In reality, genital skin changes are common and often harmless. Still, some conditions do require medical evaluation, and knowing the difference matters.

Genital skin is sensitive, exposed to friction, moisture, hair removal, and bacteria. Because of this, it reacts more easily than skin elsewhere on the body. Changes can appear suddenly and may look dramatic even when the cause is minor. Understanding the most common reasons these bumps or lesions occur can help reduce unnecessary panic while also making it easier to recognize when medical care is necessary.

One of the most frequent causes of genital bumps is folliculitis. This condition occurs when hair follicles become irritated or infected, often after shaving, waxing, or wearing tight, non-breathable clothing. Bacteria can enter tiny openings in the skin, leading to inflammation. Folliculitis typically appears as small red or white bumps clustered around hair follicles. They may itch, feel tender, or contain pus. While uncomfortable, folliculitis is usually not dangerous. Keeping the area clean, avoiding further irritation, and allowing the skin time to heal is often enough. Persistent or worsening cases may require medical treatment, especially if infection spreads.

Sebaceous cysts are another common and generally harmless cause of genital lumps. These cysts form when oil-producing glands become blocked, trapping material beneath the skin. They usually appear as smooth, round, flesh-colored or slightly yellow bumps. Most sebaceous cysts are painless and slow-growing. Problems arise only if they become infected, which can cause redness, swelling, and pain. In many cases, these cysts resolve on their own, but a healthcare provider can safely drain or remove them if needed.

Ingrown hairs are closely related to both folliculitis and cysts and are especially common after hair removal. When hair curls back into the skin instead of growing outward, it can cause localized inflammation. Ingrown hairs may look like small red bumps, sometimes with a visible hair trapped underneath. Although annoying, they are usually harmless and improve with gentle exfoliation and avoiding tight clothing.

While many genital bumps are benign, some skin changes are linked to infections or chronic conditions that should not be ignored. Genital warts are one such example. They are caused by certain strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV) and typically appear as small, flesh-colored or gray growths. These warts may be flat or raised and sometimes cluster together, creating a cauliflower-like appearance. They are often painless but can cause itching or discomfort explained by friction. Although genital warts themselves are not life-threatening, they are contagious and require medical evaluation for proper diagnosis, management, and monitoring.

Another condition that requires attention is infection with the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Genital herpes commonly presents as small fluid-filled blisters that eventually break open and form painful sores. Before the sores appear, many people experience warning signs such as tingling, burning, or itching in the affected area. Herpes is a chronic condition, meaning symptoms may recur periodically, especially during times of stress or illness. While there is no cure, antiviral medications can significantly reduce symptom severity and frequency.

Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin condition that spreads through direct skin-to-skin contact, including sexual contact in adults. It appears as small, firm, dome-shaped bumps with a characteristic central indentation. These bumps are usually painless and can appear anywhere in the genital region. Although molluscum contagiosum often resolves on its own over time, treatment may be recommended to prevent spread to others or to additional areas of the body.

Syphilis is a bacterial sexually transmitted infection that can begin subtly. The first stage often involves a single painless sore known as a chancre, which may appear in the genital area and go unnoticed. Avoiding treatment allows the infection to progress into more serious stages, potentially affecting the skin, nervous system, heart, and other organs. Early diagnosis is critical, as antibiotic treatment is highly effective in the initial stages.

Certain non-infectious skin conditions can also affect the genital area. Lichen sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory disorder that often causes thin, white patches of skin that may itch, tear, or cause discomfort. Over time, untreated lichen sclerosus can lead to scarring. Lichen planus is another inflammatory condition that may cause flat, purple or reddish bumps, sometimes accompanied by soreness or burning. Both conditions require medical management, often involving prescription topical treatments to control symptoms and prevent complications.

Because genital skin changes can look similar across different conditions, self-diagnosis is unreliable. Some benign bumps resemble infections, while serious conditions may appear mild at first. This overlap is why professional evaluation is important when symptoms persist or worsen.

Medical attention should be sought if a bump or lesion does not improve within a couple of weeks, becomes increasingly painful, bleeds, changes color, or spreads. Additional warning signs include fever, swollen lymph nodes, unusual discharge, or sores that recur repeatedly. Any sudden or unexplained change in genital skin deserves careful evaluation, regardless of perceived risk factors.

Avoid squeezing, popping, or scratching bumps in the genital area. Doing so can introduce bacteria, worsen inflammation, and lead to scarring or infection. Over-the-counter treatments marketed for other parts of the body may not be safe for genital skin and can cause further irritation.

Maintaining good hygiene, wearing breathable clothing, avoiding harsh soaps, and practicing safe sexual habits can reduce the risk of many genital skin issues. Regular medical checkups and honest communication with healthcare providers also play a key role in early detection and peace of mind.

Genital skin changes are more common than most people realize, and feeling anxious when noticing them is natural. What matters most is responding with accurate information and appropriate care rather than fear or avoidance. Early evaluation leads to better outcomes, clearer answers, and reassurance when the cause is harmless.

More people are coming out as Almondsexual – here’s what it means

It can be difficult to keep up with trends in the ever-changing world we live in today. Just when you think you’ve got a grip on things, something else comes along to reinforce that feeling that you’re getting old before your time.

This can ring especially true as it relates to sexual identity and orientation, with new terms being developed regularly as people look for ways to accurately describe their experiences of attraction.

We’ve already written about individuals who are ‘Abrosexual‘ and ‘Graysexual‘ in the past, but we’ve never touched upon ‘Almondsexuality’. Sound weird? Well, it’s apparently a new microlabel used to help people better define what they’re attracted to.

According to Wikipedia, almondsexuality refers to experiencing primary attraction to male-aligned and androgynous-aligned genders, with occasional or minor attraction to female-aligned genders.

The orientation comes under the broader multisexual umbrella, which also includes potentially more familiar identities such as bisexuality and pansexuality.

So, what makes almondsexuality stand out among the more widely-known orientations? As Fandom explains, it has to do with the pattern and intensity of attraction.

Almondsexual individuals reportedly experience a distinct preference structure: consistent attraction to masculine and neutral presentations, with less frequent or less intense attraction to feminine presentations.

Some individuals might choose to identify as bisexual or pansexual, others find that almondsexual better captures experience of attraction.

If you’ve never heard the term almondsexual then the chances are you’re not the only one. The term has only been in the general sphere since 2023, when it was coined by a Tumblr user known as genderstarbucks.

Berrisexual, meanwhile, is the inverse, used to define a primary attraction to feminine and androgynous genders.

New details emerge about Jonathan Ross, ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good

The ICE agent who shot Renee Nicole Good three times at close range in Minneapolis last week was previously involved in a traumatic encounter that saw him dragged more than 100 yards by a suspected undocumented immigrant.

That’s according to new reports focusing on the background of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent caught on film fatally shooting Renee Good as she tried to flee officers on the morning of January 7.

Ross’ identity was revealed online after immense pressure in the aftermath of the aforementioned shooting. Court documents confirming he was the officer who shot Good also detailed how he was seriously injured in a June 17, 2025 incident in Bloomington, Minnesota.

As per the New York Post, an ICE team had then stopped Roberto Carlos Munoz, a suspect with multiple charges against his name. Yet things escalated dramatically when Munoz refused to step out of his vehicle.

According to reports, Ross broke the back driver’s side window in an attempt to unlock the door from inside. Munoz responded by putting his foot on the gas to escape, with Ross’s arm lodged between the seat and the car frame.

The Justice Department claimed that Ross was dragged for over 100 yards as Munoz sped away, swerving from left to right in a bid to shake the ICE officer free.

Ross was reported to have sustained “significant injuries to his arm and hand,” requiring 33 stitches, according to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Munoz was later arrested and charged with assaulting a federal officer. He was convicted by a federal jury in December 2024.

Ross, who serves full-time in Minneapolis as a member of ICE’s ERO Special Response Team, was involved in another incident last week – this time responsible for the fatal shooting of 37-year-old mother Renee Good.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem defended the shooting in its immediate aftermath, claiming Ross had acted appropriately. President Donald Trump also voiced his opinion in no uncertain terms, claiming that Ross was lucky to be alive and blaming Good.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, meanwhile, issued a fiery warning to ICE, stating: “To ICE, get the f*** out of Minneapolis. They are not here to cause safety in this city. What they are doing is not to provide safety in America. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust.”

Concerning the shooting of Good, Frey added: “They are already trying to spin this as an action of self defense. Having seen the video myself, I wanna tell everybody directly, that is bulls**t.”

Former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, 84, has been hospitalized in Luxembourg following an incident that occurred during an official diplomatic visit. Her office confirmed that she is receiving medical care from local specialists and remains in stable condition. While full medical details have not been disclosed, her spokesperson stressed that the situation is being handled with care and professionalism and that Pelosi is alert, engaged, and in good spirits.

The incident took place during Pelosi’s participation in events marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, one of the most significant military campaigns of World War II. The commemorations were intended to honor U.S. service members and reflect on the historical and strategic importance of the Allied victory. Pelosi, who has long emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and honoring veterans, was attending the ceremony as part of a bipartisan congressional delegation.

According to individuals present at the event, Pelosi appeared to lose her balance while moving near the memorial site. Security personnel immediately assisted her, and medical professionals were contacted without delay. Out of an abundance of caution, she was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and observation. Officials emphasized that the response was swift and coordinated, reflecting the high level of preparedness typically in place during international diplomatic engagements involving senior U.S. officials.

Her spokesperson later clarified that early reports speculating about the severity of the injury were premature. While acknowledging that Pelosi did experience an unexpected fall, the spokesperson stated that she remained composed throughout the process and was communicating clearly with her team. The decision to hospitalize her was described as precautionary, particularly given her age and the physical demands of international travel.

Medical staff in Luxembourg conducted a thorough assessment upon her arrival. She was placed under observation and received care from specialists experienced in treating injuries common among older adults. Representatives from the United States Embassy have been in direct contact with local medical providers, ensuring continuity of care and facilitating communication with Pelosi’s team in Washington.

Official updates emphasized that Pelosi has continued to work remotely, staying informed about legislative and diplomatic matters despite the interruption to her travel schedule. Aides noted that she has participated in calls and briefings from her hospital room, underscoring her long-standing reputation for discipline and commitment to public service. While some planned engagements were postponed or reassigned, her team confirmed that essential diplomatic objectives were being maintained.

Reaction to the news was swift and bipartisan. Representative Michael McCaul, who was leading the congressional delegation, expressed regret that Pelosi could not complete the remainder of the trip but praised her resilience. He described her as determined and deeply committed to service, noting that even under unexpected circumstances, she remained focused on her responsibilities.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries issued a statement calling Pelosi a symbol of perseverance and strength. He highlighted her decades of leadership and her continued influence on both domestic and international affairs. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell also extended well wishes, setting aside partisan differences to commend her dedication and express hope for a smooth recovery.

Support extended beyond U.S. borders as well. Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Luc Frieden publicly conveyed his concern and assured that Pelosi was receiving excellent medical care. Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary-General of NATO, also shared words of support, acknowledging Pelosi’s long-standing engagement with transatlantic security issues and her respect for military history and alliance-building.

Pelosi’s hospitalization has drawn attention not only because of her age but also because of her continued relevance in global diplomacy. Although she stepped down as Speaker of the House in 2023, she remains an influential figure within the Democratic Party and in U.S. foreign policy circles. Her participation in international commemorations and meetings reflects the trust placed in her experience and institutional knowledge.

Throughout her career, Pelosi has emphasized the importance of honoring veterans and preserving democratic values through international cooperation. Her visit to Luxembourg was intended to reinforce those principles while strengthening ties with European partners. Planned meetings with European lawmakers and officials were designed to address current geopolitical challenges, including security, democratic resilience, and historical remembrance.

The incident has also prompted discussion about the physical demands placed on senior public officials who continue to serve well into their later years. While some observers have raised questions about travel intensity, others have pointed to Pelosi’s track record as evidence of her capacity to manage such responsibilities effectively. Her aides stressed that she follows medical guidance and that any decisions regarding future travel will be made based on professional advice.

Despite the setback, Pelosi has made it clear through her team that she intends to resume her duties as soon as doctors allow. She is expected to remain hospitalized for monitoring until medical staff are satisfied with her recovery progress. No timeline has been announced for her return to the United States, but officials emphasized that there is no immediate cause for concern.

The broader response to her hospitalization highlights the respect she commands across political and national boundaries. Messages of support from lawmakers, diplomats, veteran organizations, and members of the public reflect the impact of her decades-long career. For many, the incident serves as a reminder that even the most experienced leaders are not immune to unexpected challenges.

At its core, the situation underscores the human dimension of public service. Political leaders often operate under intense scrutiny and demanding schedules, yet moments like this reveal the personal vulnerabilities that exist behind public roles. Pelosi’s calm response, combined with the coordinated support of her team and international partners, illustrates the importance of preparedness, cooperation, and professionalism.

As Pelosi continues her recovery in Luxembourg, attention remains focused on her health and well-being. Officials have pledged to provide updates as appropriate while respecting her privacy. For now, the consensus among supporters and colleagues is clear: her resilience, dedication, and commitment to service remain undiminished.

The incident, while unexpected, has not overshadowed the purpose of her visit or the significance of the commemorations she traveled to attend. Instead, it has reinforced the respect she has earned over decades of leadership and the enduring influence she continues to hold on the global stage.
