In 2012, Garrett Beckwith and his 19-year-old daughter Della set out on what was supposed to be an exciting climbing expedition to Mount Hooker in Wyoming, a journey meant to strengthen their bond and add another chapter to their many outdoor adventures together, but what began with anticipation and the thrill of conquering new heights turned into one of the state’s most enduring mysteries when the two never returned.

When the pair failed to check in as scheduled, a routine search quickly escalated into one of Wyoming’s most perplexing mysteries. After eleven long years, a shocking discovery would finally shed light on their fate.

The Climbing Expedition

Garrett, an experienced climber, had taken Della on numerous outdoor adventures, teaching her the skills necessary to navigate the challenging terrains of the mountains.

Their trip to Mount Hooker was intended to be another memorable experience, filled with breathtaking views and the thrill of conquering new heights. As they began their ascent, excitement filled the air, but that excitement soon turned to dread when they failed to return.

When Garrett and Della missed their scheduled check-in, concern grew among their family and friends. They promptly reported the pair missing, initiating a search and rescue operation.

In Florida, two mothers called the police on their own sons following extensive damage to a local school, estimated at $50,000. Authorities are investigating the incident, highlighting parental accountability and community safety concerns.

The 12- and 13-year-old boys broke into Friendship Elementary School in Deltona on Saturday during the daytime and then returned at night to cause more damage, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Video posted by the sheriff’s office showed a shattered glass door, overturned tables and shelves, shredded books and graffiti. 

The boys confessed to the vandalism, according to a social media post from the sheriff’s office.

Facing multiple charges

They were charged with burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief and theft.

Viewers watching Charlie Kirk’s memorial have all spotted the same disturbing detail on stage.

The political commentator died earlier this month (September 10) after he was shot in the neck and killed while on stage at Utah Valley University (UVU).

Kirk was addressing a 3,000-strong crowd as part of his ‘American Comeback’ tour at various university campuses across the US when he was killed by the gunshot.

An FBI manhunt ensued and 22 year old Tyler Robinson was later arrested under suspicion of murder.

He made his first court appearance on Tuesday (September 16) via video link from Utah County Jail where he is currently being held, which is where he heard that prosecutors would be seeking the death penalty.

He has also been responding to other users’ posts, with one person writing: “If I am being perfectly honest… I think I am beginning to lose the will to be tolerant.”

To which Musk replied with: “If tolerance means the end of Western Civilization, then we cannot be tolerant.”

He then went on to write: “If they won’t leave us in peace, then our choice is fight or die.”

Authorities are still searching for the shooter, who is believed to have been positioned on top of a nearby building.

Police have described the incident as an assassination but the Department of Public Safety have confirmed that the shooting is ‘still an active investigation’.
